What is on the Menu
What do we serve: fellowship, fun, and great food! Our menus feature authentic cuisine that reflects our commitment to professional cooperation and sets the stage for encountering other cultures. Whether serving up food inspired by Biblical references, following recipes from Eastern European Jewish kitchens, cooking traditional Levantine dishes or interpreting modern cuisine, Chefs for Peace suggests a model for reducing conflict and increasing understanding and coexistence.
What is are Chef for Peace essential ingredients: "Bread and salt, the food of peace." Beyond their talents in the kitchen, all our chefs are experienced in speaking about how they see food as a neutral, intuitive, and universal means of encountering different cultures. Their goal is to share with people that even in a place like Israel with all the conflicts which are part of daily life, people must continue to interact in business and in their communities to keep the conversation and possibility of peace alive.
